Automec 2025 is consolidated as the best in history

Event held in São Paulo breaks record for generating business

The 16th edition of Automec, in addition to being considered the largest in history in terms of brand presence, also broke records for potential business. RX, the organizer of the main event for the automotive repair and replacement parts market in Latin America, estimates that exhibiting companies made more than 220,000 contacts for potential sales in the coming months. With respect to visitors, the trade show attracted 105,000 professionals over the five event days, exceeding the organization's expectations.

"Our main commitment was to bring together, in one place, exhibitors that could present innovative products with the most advanced technological resources. With this, it was possible to create new connections and reinforce older ones," says Automec manager Eduardo Marchetti. "The significant number of leads confirms Automec as the ideal environment to strengthen connections and boost business in the automotive replacement parts and repair market," he adds.

Automec featured the participation of over 1,500 brands showcasing the main innovations and trends in the automotive replacement parts, maintenance, accessories and equipment segments for all types of vehicles. The presence of international companies was 20% higher compared to the previous edition, with brands from various countries, including Turkey, Argentina, India, China, South Korea, Japan, the USA, Germany and the Netherlands, among others.

Present since the event's inception in the 1990s, the president of Abipeças and Sindipeças, Cláudio Sahad, emphasizes the importance of the event. "The replacement parts segment, the main focus of the trade show, is responsible for maintaining the Brazilian fleet of over 48 million vehicles, which transports people and wealth across this truly continent-sized country," he says.

Expectations exceeded

Bosch celebrated its positive results achieved at the event. “We presented our solutions for parts, diagnostics and services to a relevant and engaged public. It was a great opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to the future of the automotive sector in Latin America,” emphasized Robinson Silva, Marketing Director of the Mobility Aftermarket division for Latin America.

This year, the company had two booths: one on the main street and another focused on workshop concepts, in the outdoor area. “We fortified our relations with our customers, partners, colleagues and collaborators. We left there even more motivated to continue innovating and collaborating with the entire automotive aftermarket sector chain, always with the goal of offering comprehensive and high-quality solutions to our customers,” he emphasizes.

The Schaeffler Vehicle Lifetime Solutions division made its debut, presenting different technologies and launches for mobility. For Rubens Campos, the company's senior vice president for South America, the event highlighted the strong position of Schaeffler and the LuK, INA and FAG brands. "Once again, the REPXPERT Super Tips Space was a success among mechanics. With short daily training sessions, we provided important and practical repair tips for transmissions, engines and chassis," he explains.

Perfect Automotive, which in addition to its booth, had a strong presence as a sponsor in the Automec Drift activation, and according to Gérson Coronado, the company CEO, further strengthening the company's position as one of the leading brands in the Brazilian automotive aftermarket. "The event was a strategic opportunity to strengthen relations with customers, expand our network of contacts and, above all, present the latest developments in our portfolio — now even more robust, with our definitive entry into the heavy vehicle segment," he says.

A full schedule of presentations and panels

Automec's technical content agenda, including partner events, totaled more than 140 hours.

The Content Arena hosted approximately 40 hours of presentations and panels, addressing the main topics in the automotive aftermarket sector. ESG was also part of the agenda, with a day dedicated exclusively to the topic in another edition of the Sustainable Transport Forum.

In the area of equity, the space hosted the first edition of Elas na Automec (Women at Automec), which marked the launch of AMMA – the Brazilian Association of Women in the Automotive Market, and featured the presence of important women leaders. The entity was created with the goal of promoting inclusion and expanding the participation of women, who currently represent only 21% of the workforce in the automotive segment. It also featured a panel by CSB - Deaf Truckers of Brazil, which addressed the topic of inclusion and how the automotive sector can promote the inclusion of deaf professionals in workshops and auto parts companies, creating a positive social impact.

Radical maneuvers and knowledge

Among the most popular attractions at Automec, the Garage Show brought together 18 professional drivers in two daily sessions of drift demonstrations at the Perfect Automotive Arena, an exclusive structure set up in the outdoor area of São Paulo Expo. With cars adapted for competition using commonly available replacement parts, the event tested the quality of the components and the skills of the drivers. The initiative was sponsored by Mahle, NGK and SKY Group.

The Automec University, which debuted at the 2025 edition, had a schedule of approximately 70 hours of courses and training in partnership with SENAI – National Service for Industrial Training, IQA – Automotive Quality Institute, ZF and Tirreno. Created for mechanics and repair professionals interested in professional qualification, it addressed topics such as decarbonization, sustainability, digitalization and new fuels. To give an idea of the level of participation, over the five event days, IQA conducted more than 70 tests and SENAI issued hundreds of certificates.

“The popularity of the University demonstrated the interest among mechanics in improving their knowledge, and this is fundamental for standing out from the competition. The initiative reinforces the importance of continuing education in the sector and contributes to improving the technical level of the services provided,” concludes Marchetti.

The next edition of Automec is already scheduled and will take place between April 20 and 24, 2027, at São Paulo Expo. More information about the event can be found on the official website: www.automecfeira.com.br
